Nephew and I south of Winner, SD. We saw one vehicle from Oregon!
40 mph winds on day one - 4 in the bag
10" of snow on day two. Birds held, limit by 1:00. Tough going!
Very cold on day three, limit by 3:00.
Epilogue: Birds were near corn, in tree groves and held. Most of the birds were very young and seemed as though they had not been hunted. 95% of the birds we flushed were roosters.
Fortunately I installed new M&S tires in October and had fantastic traction in the fields and unimproved roads. A heavy truck (Yukon) worked well...
