Went bass fishing tonight & caught a few but the good news is on the 1/2 mile road to the pood from the highway I saw one hen and two roosters. There is hope for next fall.

It was an unusual day today for me heading down to my place.
Just south of I-70 on the highway I was a male Prairie Chicken on the road displaying. I had to move over into the other lane not to hit him.
Then I saw 3 pheasant and a quail down on the road by my place.
With the rain we have had the last couple weeks, the cover is growing well now.
