Sand hills and snakes

You can go days and never see one. Then again you may see a lot! Determined by if your hunting where they are denning, or hunting.
 
I hunted the sandhills alot near Burwell up to Valentine areas, never really had problems with snakes, they are there, but never ran into them alot, hunted with dogs and bow hunted in that area many a september day, I saw very few and never got close to being bit.
