Just wanna say thanks guys and I have got me a pup and she's a 5 month old Deutsche Wachtelhund . She is the first pup I ever bought and she's doing great I even pop a few live birds over her. Land and water hand delivers . Sally was just a mutt that I found as a pup and turn out to be a super good hunter and buddy. She even point at times but never push it account no upland hunting in my area
 
I lost my 13 1/2 yr old lab last month while on a camping trip no less. Knew he was not doing that good and hated to have him put down. It was his last camping trip and I think it was meant for him to leave us while doing what he loved. Sure is tough to lose such a close friend for so many years. Luckily I have a pup out of him that is now 5 years old and running strong so it takes some of the pain of losing him away.
 
You gave her a great life, all a human can do for a dog.
