Rockham Area

I have the opportunity to hunt private ground in Rockham this fall and was wondering what to expect. Does anybody have any experience hunting this area?

You're a lucky guy. Rockham is just west of Redfield and this area has always been one of the better areas in the state. The first pheasants released in South Dakota over 100 years ago were released a few miles north of Redfield. Good luck on your hunt.

lucky indeed, I perform my own road side count by counting the number of roadkilled pheasant on the road. I spent a couple weeks in this area at the end of june, and that area had the most I've seen so far.:cheers:

Yup, it will be a good time. I lived in Redfield and anything around the area is good.
