Bittersweet. When you pick up that puppy, you want it to live a long life. I am glad to see you have other dogs to ease the pain. Glad she was able to smell some crisp October air.

My thoughts are with you. Sorry for your loss. I had to put down my 15 yr old GSP in April. Still think about her everyday. Planning on sprinkling her ashes in SD next week at her honey hole.

My condolences. Only a bird hunter can understand how difficult it is to say goodbye to a hunting partner. I had to put one of mine down this spring. It was tough but it was time. Having said that, they are never forgotten. Hang in there.

Sorry about your dog. Never easy. I lost a partner this year myself. Its tough. Takes a while to heal, and we never forget.
