I should have put more info in my first message, I am looking at SD for pheasant hunting for the 2010-2011 season and I was thinking about the Uguide operation, I guess that is somewhat freelance. At this time, I am by my self but trying to recruit some people. I do not have a dog.

You really need to hook up with someone that has a good dog. It would be a tough go on your own without a dog. Unless you plan to use the service of a commercial hunting operation that will supply dogs.
Look at the bright side. You have all year to make plans and dream about the hunt. :thumbsup:
