Last year's litter has had 4 pups test NA, all prizing with an average score of 108, qualifying the litter for a Natural Ability Breeders Award.
With two natural ties in early June, we anticipate a whelp date very early August. Both parents live with us, in the house, as members of the family. We chase upland birds and waterfowl here in Northern IL and have been after sharptail grouse in ND the past four seasons. River and Rudy have completed ALL recommended health tests (hips, elbows, eyes and thyroid) per the AWPGA, as well as cleared for tan gene.

River’s litter mates achieved a Natural Ability Breeders Award and Rudy’s first sired litter (November 2022) had 4 pups test and prize, with a Natural Ability Breeders Award expected after the 2025 NAVHDA Annual Meeting.
With this pairing we aim to produce biddable hunting dogs with a tighter coat and expand their love for water and retrieving. Pups will go to vetted hunting homes ONLY.
Pups will have both AKC and NAVHDA limited registrations with contracts, first shots, and microchips before going home. Please reach out for more information.
