Re Wax Filson jacket

I use obenaufs heavy duty leather treatment on my Filson waxed gear. So much easier to apply but doesn't last quite as long. Smells a little like beeswax with some other stuff but I don't care. I tried to re-wax with Filsons wax and quickly came to the realization that I would never try it again, not even with the wax completely liquid and hot.

Obenauf's is easy but it still takes time. I think for my jacket I probably re-wax it every three years and touch up a spot here or there as needed.
 
You can use Barbour Wax Dressing. It’s a bit thinner and goes on easy.
