Rain

Its bad here . I have a farm where I plant sunflowers for dove hunting and I have pond where I plant millet and rice . The Millet and rice are all dead . Plus I usually have tons of dove and there's very few out there this year. Got food ,water and trees ?????? Not even seeing em on my dove lease this year

I was out at Stillhouse doing some Bass Fishing and the water is 14 feet low...

This is getting a bit silly!

Belton is only 10 feet . The chances that we had for the end of the week are pretty much gone. It always rains for for dove season opener
 
Just not this year

My wife and myself always say it is our fault. We moved to the Alps, that winter NO SNOW! We move to Central Texas Worst Draught in Record.

We will take the blame, however our rain dances don't seem to be working!

Found a guy that does guided lease on his land near Nolanville that is going to try and show me the ropes of Dove hunting. This is a brand new hunt for me. I am acustom to kicking brush. He told me to bring a chair. Should be fun.

Any information that you might have would be wonderful.

We guy and gals make a big deal of dove hunting here . I have party area at the farm and we all meet out there for lunch .I smoked 2 briskets for us for our meal this year. But we are not having the amounts of birds as normal but it will change. I luv them Jeeps got one too
