Railroad Tracks?

Howdy Folks.

NE Colorado is new ground for me. My SW Kansas spots have literally dried up this year as many of you well know.

So, before embarking on a new adventure, I have been looking at maps and Google Earth. I see alot of RR track around Yuma and other places. I cannot get out until the 19th and since most of you have taken all the Walk-in birds already :), I thought I would try the tracks. It is just me and my two labs.

What are the legalities of of walking Burliington's right of way?

Any advice?

I figured as much. Times have changed. I remeber in the late 80's it was no big deal in Minnesnowta and Illinois. The brakemen would sometimes come and hunt with you. Remote Kansas in places, the "management" in the yard would give permission and wonder why we asked.

Good to know about the strictness of Colorado. It is a safety issue for sure, and no sense breakig laws. It can give us guys a bad mark.

Thanks for the input.
