Rabbits in SD?

I'm headed to the Aberdeen area to hunt private land this week. We have a pile of birds dogs but I brought a few beagles along. Will I be able to find any rabbits in the area to run?
 
I've found rabbits in SD are hard to see without any snow on the ground due to the taller grass that they are usually in. That being said there should be some around. I've seen plenty at my in-laws up that way.
 
There's usually a lot of rabbits out there. As Bigrand mentioned, snow makes a huge difference. Regardless, if you're looking for them you'll bag a few.

cottontail & jackrabbits... i see cottontail all the time woody windbreaks by crops especially by turnips/sugar beats...

want a white jackrabbit seen em b4 out pheasant hunting sd u will find em ask locals
