I am not sure about that but I found Wakeeney to be a better town to stay in. More restaurants and motels to choose from.

I have a reservation this year in wakeeny just hoped quinter would reopen in time for the opener. Hate breaking tradition.

Hays is a little further, but the eats in Hays are wayyyyyyyy better than WK.

turtle the motel in quinter is closed indefinately unless someone buys it and reopens it
