1. how many of you rode your dogs, what method do you use and how often.

2. how many of you brush your dogs teeth and how often

If you mean ROAD your dogs, I started doing it this way this summer and it worked great for me. I would go as early in the day as I could, or sometimes for a short trip close to home in the evening.

I would go about twice a week per dog, sometimes three or four if you count the short trips at my house. I totally gave up running with them once they mastered running alongside the bike. They just didn't get any exercise when I was on foot, and running by myself was too boring. I'm actually looking forward to doing this again in the Spring, because it was fun as well as good exercise.

Daisy, the GWP in the photo, pulls at first and then settles into a good run at heel. Junie pretty much pulls the whole trip.

I use the walkydog system which attaches to seat post, has quick release extension arm which is spring loaded and has bungee cord for hook up.
Start in Sept. and add time and distance as we progress. Dogs pull so hard I have to hit brakes from time to time to slow them down. For the most part I can only hunt weekends so I will road them on Wed evening for 30 min. just to take the edge off.
I don't brush my dogs teeth which I probably should be doing but rely on twice a year vet cleanings during checkups and dry dog food to do it's part.

roading

sorry i was to stupid to spell or use the right work, surprised even so that there so few comments about exercising the mutts. i have a large parcel of land available and they run ahead of the truck and one reason that is overlooked in the exercise is the toughening of the pads, sore pad will shut a dog down quicker and for a longer period of time the just being out of wind.

looks like you guy are not up to speed on bushing, i do it once a week, my older dog more often, when i brush mine, he sits in the bathroom waiting for me to do his, one hides under the bed, the other chooses the coffee table

cheers

From time-to-time, I'll take my Springer out with the 4 wheeler, but it is not a common occurrence. Around here, I have to use field roads, there's too much traffic to use the paved ones.

Mostly, I walk the fields while he investigates everydamnedthing. A neighbor has two goldens he's babysitting, so I bring Mick over for an hour's gallop/tussle/tug of war with them.

But I no longer hunt long days.

I used to road JP on the river bank with my truck until one day he bolted after a rabbit and I ran him over. Didn't even phase the knot head but it scared the hell out of me. Now I just take them for runs, swims, and about 20mins a day of 100 or so yard sprints chasing the kong ball.

Im lucky in that I have an excess amount of land within 5 minutes of the house and can run them whenever I want. It's good exercise for all of us.

Never brush their teeth. Probably should but never have.
