Quail Reports

I haven't been out yet but was wondering what the quail situation looks like from Roswell south to the Texas line and also around Socorro, especially east and south of there. I gotta get out soon!

Haven't heard anything about Roswell but its been difficult around Socorro in any direction I've hunted. Bernardo area east and west, all over off highway 380 and south almost to T or C. 3 pretty good dogs and lots of miles and have seen 2 birds. So far the worst year I have had in a very long time. Maybe there is a really huge covey somewhere, lol. Will keep hunting......still beats work!

hi east of there, is loaded with scaled quail , I was there last week, for the first time... I got schooled.... not many missing from the flock due to me!
