Pumping the action so fast that shells can’t completely cycle. I shot a 3” gun.

I'm going to take my beretta and the 870 for backup.

Clean em both before the trip. Bring a small gun cleaning kit for the truck. A ram rod and patches in case the barrel gets plugged. A small punch if you need to remove the trigger group. I've only ever had a hunting gun stop working one time due to a weak shell and wad stuck in barrel.
