PSA... Attention hunters that use OnX. Pay attention to the National Wildlife Refuges for special regulations. OnX has the Refuges listed as open hunt units on the main screen and a lot of hunters are assuming that unit is open to all hunting. The refuges in the Dakotas do have pheasant and deer hunts but are very limited. Generally pheasant hunting is not allowed until later in the year. Consult refuge regulations for those seasons specific to that National Wildlife Refuge.
