Pro550+ with TT25 and Garmin watch

Does anyone run this combo. What I’m looking for is point notification on the watch, because the controller vibrating does no good unless you are holding it. Kinda hard to hold the controller and be ready to fire also. Can the watch be set up to vibrate on your wrist like the controller vibrates?

I can feel the garmin 300 vibration in the pouch. I was using a final rise this year. I’m left handed so I keep my shells in the right side and the garmin in the left..

Thanks. I hang the 550 off of a d-ring on the outside. I like to have quick access to it.cant feel anything from there.

I use the 200 and an instinct watch. Because I’m a southpaw, the watch is on my right hand and watch face is pointing in. With that hand holding the forearm the watch face is now pointed at me. I can see/glance the watch and yet not take my eyes off the field.

I run the 300, tt25 and garmin instinct solar and my watch will vibrate. I generally turn my watch so the face is on the underside of my wrist so it is easier to see, well at least for me.

I have an Instinct 2. It pairs nicely with my 550+. I like it all.

My gripe is my glass prescription that lets me see at distance, makes watch/phone/controller all just blurry enough to be annoying. I have to take my gkssses off, or look over the tops to clearly see. It sucks getting old. Need to get a zero magnification bottom bifocal.

Here is what is awesome about the watch though. After you are chasing a downed rooster with it being 5 degrees and 35mph winds through a cornfield and recover him after quite a rodeo (dogs in truck while walking a productive ditch), you realize you lost your phone.

After you and 6 buddies give up the search, your brother in law says “use your watch”. No kidding?

Buried in the menus is a “find your phone” icon. Enable that and it becomes a game of hot/cold (if you’re in blue tooth range) and it took me right to my phone, 50 yards out in the corn field where I was chasing a rooster.

My trucks are 4wd. That doesn’t mean I run them in 4wd at all times.
This. I'm very rarely looking at my 550+ or watch screen UNTIL my watch vibrates letting me know my dog is on point somewhere. *Most* of the time I already have eyes on him but, especially as the season progresses and we're hunting thicker and thicker cover, there are a lot of times where it wouldn't be possible for me to know where my dog is at or if he's on point unless I had my 550+/watch. To LostE's point, I don't enjoy the marches through cattails/extremely thick cover simply because I don't really get to see my dog work. Is it fun to still get the notification he's on point and then locate him on point? Heck yeah it is but it's way more fun to watch him do the work that lead up to the point and then watch him slam into a point than it is to just get a notification that he's now on point. Can't have your cake and eat it too I suppose.

I've put this feature on my "Quick Menu" or whatever it is called screen because, more often than not, I put my phone down in some completely random place in our house and my wife got tired of me asking her where I set down my phone at lol.
