I'm not bragging but this yr. I ended up de-boning my birds for room in the freezer. Also make sure you get as much air as possible out of the bag.
It also makes it nice for a quick meal. :cheers:
Life is good, with a few birds in the freezer.
Prior to getting a Food Saver I would put the de-boned pheasant in a plastic freezer bag, add enough water to cover the meat, seal bag and freeze. The birds keep great in frozen water. Even better than using a Food Saver vacuum packer.
