You can check YouTube. There were some videos last year utilizing a super high speed camera to record and talk about shot string. The majority of shot string is under a couple feet and not worth trying to outthink. It was interesting data though.

Oh yeah those were fantastic videos and I think help close the case. If shotstring were 30ft+ we could maybe start worrying about it for some situations. But yeah I think everything he saw was basically like 15ft and under. And that was counting the first and last pellet vs just the "core". I just mean even if some shells had that long of shotstring, how could any of us know if ours did without the half a million dollar camera. You simply can't make your own assumptions and avoid those shells without testing.
