[UGUIDE]

I know many of you have probably seen this but I had occasion to watch this once more today and enjoyed the reminder of what the season can bring.

This was video from last year and I know the birds are up this year.

Grab a beer, turn the volume up and save the "that's awful shooting" posts for later.

Fun to watch. I don't think you need to yell into the mike each time a bird flushes. Perhaps one of the other hunters can do the yelling. Just my take on the film.

No comment on the shooting, but the one guy who holds his gun between his legs, pointed right at you, is another story...

That has to be the one thing I don't know if I could get over if I was to guide groups of hunters. I'm nervous as heck hunting with anyone new and to do it over and over again. Takes a special person, I guess.

I should have pre-qualified the video to say that this was a "down year". This was filmed last year in 2011. Many owners in the area were concerned they were not "seeing" birds or the birds were so young and late they would not make it thru the winter.

This year the owners are seeing birds and the numbers should be up over last year considerably in most locations.
