Just saw the price for this at Midway, 33.99 per 25rnds. Don't think I will be trying any!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
 
WOW they are pretty proud of that stuff.
 
Heard a lot of you guys like that Golden Pheasant. I have never shot it, but it is more in my price range, so I think I will buy a case or two.

Don't know, But thats not where you will get the best deals any way. Try the local fleet supply's Actualy the first 10 cases we got for 8$ per box. We asked the managers if they would give a deal if we buy a bunch. He said how many is a bunch?, I said "All of em". He chuckled thinking I was not serrious. But then we loaded up. Could almost not push the cart.:thumbsup: We got both 5's and 6's.

I do not think that as a Moderator you should be continuing to tell that story. It is totally inappropriate to be doing so. Especially sense I just paid $12 a box for some.
 
I wouldn't mind trying a box at $12. I paid $10 for some Remington lead shells that were supposed to be great and I didn't think they shot any better than my Winchester Super X's.
 
You can only get them deals in Pheasant country. I live where there is no Pheasants. You will pay to the nose for any Pheasant load, if you can even find any. I bought some 20ga 3" Golden Pheasant at Gander Duluth for $14.00 a box and I thought I was just struck by the Pheasant Christmas Angel..LOL.

If it makes you feel better, I checked now and they are 13$ a box, manager is not there till thursday to check on dis. and there is now a new manager, a girl:eek:.
Brookings walmart had them at 10$ but I think they are out. Fleet farm is out of them at home. I wonder if they will come down now, it has gotten a bit rediculas. You would also think some of the others would jump into the high powered market to keep federal honest. Can't argue the PF 1,500 shell capibility though.
 
Just seen the new Mid-South shooters supply catalogue and that Prairie Storm 2 3/4 is 17.66a box. Maybe they got some bad feed back on price or Midway is just over priced?
 
Don't Need Them

I have been using Golden Pheasant since 99. They always worked great. I understand that Prairie Storm will give tighter patterns. That I don't need, I use Imp. Cyl. since I don't take long shots. I don't miss in close (much)!

Lock and Load! :D
