The peigon racers often have older birds that can no longer be competitive but work great for dog training $3.00 to 6.00 per bird .
Thanks for the feedback. I saw the "classifiedny.com" site but I searched for pigeons in a few cities/states and the exact same "for sale" info comes up. So apparently it isn't location-specific.
Seems like many of the pigeon people are not at all happy with guys using them to train dogs...
