pigeon trapping advice

Hi,
I recently bought a trap for pigeons bc free birds trapped are cheaper than birds I have to buy just to shoot in 1-2 hours of training. So my question is, what advice do you have for someone trying to trap pigeons? Any advice is helpful. Thanks

When I trapped pigeons I put my trap out along with food around it & leading into it.I wired the trap doors up untill they started entering it then dropped them,it took a couple wks before I was trapping them.GOOD LUCK!!
 
Go at night. Rig up some nets 6 pack of beer and couple of buddies with lights and catch them. Way easier than trapping them. We catch out of barns and silos.
 
I catch pigeons with brad and he has hit the nail on the head. We caught something like 1100 pigeons in one summer for dog training. Its work and lots of scouting but it is totally worth it.
