Pic for/of Corey

2009fallwinter197.jpg

Corey said to keep the pics coming so I thought I'd share one of a hunt that he experienced. This was a hunt from last season. It was a pretty rough day, but still better than a day at work....especially where he's working now!

Here's to you buddy:cheers:

and of course corey shot most of them great of shot that he is lol

See the bird on the far right? The one that's missing the head completely....that's the one I was telling you guys about in another thread. He did shoot most of the birds in the pic actually. It sure wasn't the guy he invited or the ones I'd invited:D I believe it was his buddy's first real pheasant hunt and he and Corey doubled up on 1 bird, then the foot race that followed was very entertaining.

It was a good day for quail hunting, which makes for a good day of dog work.

KB thanks for the pics and you are too kind. That was a good day and you are right a rough day hunting is way better than my best day here, except for my last day here. Can't wait to get back and make some more good memories. I still think about this day and smile knowing that it won't be long until I have many more like this.

I think 7 was the total for the day. 2 of those coveys flushed onto some land we didn't have permission to hunt, so we didn't get to take any birds out of them.

Blue- Actually you could put both our faces to Trekker. KB bought some pups off me last year so now he is has some Trekker too. Gosh I can't wait to get back. Thanks again KB.

dadgum fences...he he...I hate when that happens....

Me too. Except when those birds fly right over in front of the landowner and he downs a couple w/o any dogs. I was blocking for the group and went to help him with my dogs and they found both of the birds we saw him shoot, then they found 2 more that he'd shot earlier. I made a new friend that owns a pretty good size CRP field:thumbsup:that day
