Been a tough winter in the Aberdeen area for the pheasants. We have had a little break this past month but today we got another 9+ inches of snow along with 25-35 mph winds. Can't be good for the birds. :(

That's bad news. We got hit hard here today in MN too. I know this winter has hit our bird population hard, real hard. It has been a long, tough winter.

I have a friend in North Dakota and he has been telling that for quite a while now. We have had record snowfalls here in Eastern Washington this winter. I have been worried for our birds since before Christmas. I think this winter has been rough on the birds in a lot of States.---Bob

Well even me saying the same thing finaly, I am still seeing a few but not like a few weeks ago. The big groups dissapeared when the fields opened up some so I don't know if they just dispursed or croaked off. We are getting hamered right now same as AD. I have faith though, we have not had the freezing rains so thats a big one. Wait and see I guess. I will go and peek this weekend. ;)
