I just called a rancher where I have hunted the last 10 years, he said that it looked real bad, he said that normally they have eagles go thru in the fall, and they were neat to see, but last winter they had 6 of them stay all winter and they killed a lot of pheasants that he had wintering on his ranch. They also had a wet spring that hurt the young chicks. He did invite us to hunt there, if we wanted too, but he said maybe we should look into hunting some other spots as well.
