Pheasant Hatch

Well the first two weeks of June are typically when you start to see the first chicks. Let's hope for some warm dry weather. With a mild winter I am expecting good things.

weather is important, but continued loss of habitat is more disturbing.

I have a couple Farmer friends in areas of ND that never see pheasants, North Central, the both said the saw 4 and 5 roosters this spring while planting. and they typical see 1 every two or 3 years.

not sure if this is worth anything, but I thought I would share.
