Pheasant Forever Chapters

As many of you know, I moved from Aberdeen to Watertown a few months ago. I was shocked to find out that Watertown does not have a PF Chapter. Anyone else out there in the Watertown area that finds this unusual? In fact I've tried to find information on some "Sportsman's Clubs" in the area and have come up dry there also. The only closely related thing is a trap range/club. I'm just trying to find some pheasant hunters or people with similar interests in the Watertown area. I see the closest PF Chapter is in Clark.

I'm sure someone will advise me to start a chapter but I'm not sure I'm into that or not. I was very involved in the start-up of the chapter in Aberdeen back in the 80's and also help get a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation chapter started in Aberdeen in the 90's. I've done my share of work in these organizations but at my age I'm not sure I have the drive to see it through.

Hey George,

A new chapter...this is your calling! Think of the new hunting contacts you can make...

Been there, done that! Starting the chapter wouldn't be a real big deal but putting on the banquets is a big deal. I've done enough of those for one lifetime.

You are right about that, I'm on the Banquet committe for the BH chapter and doing the banquet is a HUGE deal and a ton of work.:D

Starting a chapter is alot of work. The whole thing is alot of work. Raising money is alot of work. It isn't easy but it has to start some place. Believe you me I know. PF/QF Is Alot of work, but I think it's worth it.
