I am lucky I guess, I can't remember the last time I lost a bird. The dogs are great at trailing out crips and don't give up on em. that has been one of there strongest assets. I did have one go down a hole about 7 years ago, but that is the only one I can think of. I guess some missed birds may be hit that fly away and die in the next township though, there has to be a few of those. Just no way to tell how many. But thats my fault right there not the hounders.
