pacemakers, left handed guns, advice

I had to have a pacemaker replaced last spring and due to scar tissue etc. they moved the damn thing to the right side of my chest. I convinced the surgeon to place the thing as high and centered as possible in order to shoot off my right shoulder, however not sure that the right shoulder will absorb enough of the recoil without damaging the pacemaker, which is sensitive to shock. Really don't want to damage the thing, expensive, and hurts like hell to have one removed. The last one came out in pieces andthe lead wires had to be cut out of the heart with a laser So exploring shooting off the left shoulder, right eye dominant. Been shooting a winchester sx/2 light, about 6.4 lbs. and thought about reversing the safety, have a collection of Parker doubles too, but all seem clumsy, heavy, off the left, and frankly never shot them all that well anyway. Any lefty shooters with advice, or pacemaker patients shooting off the shoulder with the medical marvel in it? Thanks.
