How does the hunting look around liberal Ulysses area? is it going to be cool enough this weekend for some good hunting?

I have hunted the oklahoma panhandle the last few years and i cant wait for my first kansas hunt.
 
Unless you have some good private Oklahoma Land, you will like Kansas much better. Last year a buddy of mine was driving out west and getting shooting a few birds, I told him for a extra hour of driving I could put him in a lot of birds. He hasn't talked about hunting in Oklahoma this year, just wants to know when we are going to Kansas.
 
I know the feelin'...I can't even get any sleep! I can't get off google maps long enough to go to bed. Haha, my pup is actually asleep in my bed and I hear her whimpering...I bet she's dreaming of her first Kansas trip! Just me and the lil girl headed to SW somewhere. Where are you gonna be?
