Opening Weekend

I killed it because the rancher that let me hunt asked me to, I wasn’t in Kansas. I have seen several holes in Kansas but never actually seen a badger.

We hunted til about 3:15pm on Saturday. First two fields we hunted no shots fired only one hen flushed in the second field. Third field one rooster and one in the bag, also flushed a covey of quail and we shot two. Fourth field no shots, one bird flushed. Fifth field saw at least 6-12 pheasants, we missed on some killable roosters shots. Called it a day. Sunday hunted a couple of hours. First field one covey flushed, two shots fired no birds. Second field no birds, called it a day.
