Opening two weeks and the temps!!

Heading up to NE SD on Oct. 26 for a week. Feeling bummed about the forecast. Looking like 60+ to start the week. Ugh!!

Yeah it's been a very warm Fall here so far. The extended forecast is showing high temps around 70 all the way out around the 27th-28th in the SE part of the state.

Heading out there around the same date. 60 is about the limit I like to run the dogs but hoping some error in the forecast that far out.

More concerned about harvest. Does not sound like anyone has started on corn in the area I hunt.

Today I found birds in the shade right along a lake. Semi dry cat tail bank.

I leave Thursday October 30th to hunt for 5 days. Hoping these dry temps are helping farmers get the corn out at least. I prefer to stay away from the opener. Too many people for me
