T tOlzon Guest Nov 29, 2010 #22 One thing I've read in pretty much every training book or magazine is "No birds, no bird dog". I've found that most dogs with decent breeding figure out the game pretty quickly as long as you get them on a lot of birds.

kdeckels New member Nov 29, 2010 #23 If your going to juse an ecollar, please, please, please do your canine hunting companion a favor & learn it's proper use in your training. I've hunted with one guy who never heard the words collar conditioning.
