I'll be going out to Onpoint on Wednesday with Nittany and Blitz for one last preserve hunt for the season. I had a tough time getting out there this year due to weather but I'm glad to finally make the trip.
You lucky dog!!! Be sure to take it easy on your pups, they haven't gone full bore for a while now. Be safe, have fun and take a lot of pictures.
It was raining most of the way as I drove out to Onpoint Outfitters but by the time I got there the rain stopped and the sun even came out. The dogs did well and found all the chukars that I had put out. They were also able to point a single quail that I missed, two rabbits, a woodcock and 2 roosters that I took. The cover was in great shape, especially for late March. I could tell Nittany was slowing down after a couple hours of hunting but he still had some points and he retrieved the last bird. The dogs did a good job on some running birds during the hunt. The pictures aren't the best but it's what I got.
