On my way as I post this to Dawson and tappen. Anyone have any latest reports on pheasant success?
I hunt that area a lot. south of 94. was back for opener we did "just ok". I was back for October 31st and we (3-4 guys) limited out everyday. most of the crop was off and made a big difference. I would say 20% more birds then last year. I had 4 guys hunt my property last Thursday and they shot 10, they said they missed a lot. 3 guys are hunting it today, they shot 9 by 1:00. and also shot a coyote. We hunted public and private land, was happy with the birds we saw on both. More on private land but was real happy with the public land we found.
