~ October Ringnecks ~ Bird hunted this morning with some friends and we took some pheasants and two chukar partridge. I arranged and photographed this still-life after the hunt. Will be making a stew for bird camp tomorrow to share with friends.

T 'was a beautiful day for our hunt today, the New England foliage was brilliant and the dogs worked the birds with grand style.

Thanks Chessie. The gun is a White Lightning Grade III in 20 Ga.

Very nice. I have never seen that kind of wood on a white Lightning; but for that matter, I have not seen a grade 3 White Lightning. Mechanical trigger or inertia?

I actually won this particular shotgun in a raffle when I bought 3 tickets for $50. It really is a great piece of wood.

The trigger is of an inertia design, not mechanical.
