well went opening day found one nice covey then this morning and diidnt see a thing
today i went where i had found three covies before the season and found nuthing . on a very sad note this is a very popular area and there were no other bird hunters there
i hope everyone else is doing better

Spent the day at White River Trace Ca outside of Rolla. Several rigs and hunters. Not a bird to be found. A couple of guys I talked to there had the same results except for a woodcock or two.

when opening day, found 1 covey. got to warm to hunt in the afternoon.
heading out tomorrow and sunday, hoping for better times

went out yesterday and killed one rooster and saw 2 covies of quail.
not near as many as last year. Probable will not go back to Mo this season.

Went out today on private ground in Grundy Co.

Saw zero birds before lunch. From 4:00 till dark we found 3 coveys.

None of the coveys held for point. Birds were pretty wild.

Just got a couple.

Will try again on Sunday.
