Prepare yourselves! We've been lulled into a false sense of Indian Summer!

Had the pup out at noon today. It's windier than all get-out and we know the front is coming, but it's hard to imagine it could be like in that picture.
 
man damn it im heading to that area a wk after pheasant season to go on a prairie chicken hunt & also try my hand at some NW MN pheasants my 1st time in that part of MN chase n pheasants we will try for a nice mixed bag hunt pheasants B4 the chicken hunt then ruffed grouse after the chicken hunt??? we mite just go back to hunting pheasants if the numbers are as good as they say they are up there in the road count survey ???

Tell me again what that white stuff is? Snow? The first of October? Shoot I'm still planning on having several more nice motorcycle rides enjoying the fall colors here in KS and NW Mo. Keep that white stuff up there for at least another 2 months. Come middle of December we will take a few inches of snow though!
 
Thanks for the pic Onpoint! I'm currently in Malaysia sweating my arse off. Pretty early for that brutal of a front. Forecasted temps for the upper midwest for the next few days look downright Novemberish.
