Non-Toxic shot question

I'm going hunting for the first time in the UP. We will be hunting a combination of private, Federal and State land. To the best of my knowledge as long as you are not hunting waterfowl you can still use lead shot in Michigan. Is that also the case for Federal land?

That is correct in that you don't have to use non-toxic shot in Michigan for upland game. Just make sure when hunting woodcock that your gun is either an over/under or is plugged. Good luck!

Very good point. Thank you. Because of that ill most likely leave my plug in the entire time or take my side x side.
