NO CO PF Youth Hunt

Hey y'all, was just wondering if any of you were going to be at the NOCO PF youth hunt on saturday, I am taking my 10 yr old for his first hunt ever, he is so darned excited he is already dressed and ready to go, hehe, let me know if any of you will be there so I can meet some fellow forum members.
 
I wish I would of checked this sooner. The funny thing is your out of Frederick also. I was there with my 11 year old and his friend. He did get a rooster and was really happy. We were in the yellow group. What group were you in?
 
@Scoelki--My son was in the red group, he didn't get a bird or even a shot, an older kid took his shot on one bird, he was supposed to be the primary, and the other close bird to him was the hen of the bunch, he had a great time though. So your in Frederick also, message me maybe we can work out something for next season.
 
Stuff like this might go away with the merger of the DOW and the park system. They'll be too busy funding the broke state park system to fund programs like this. If you are against this merger call your legislature immediately and ask them to vote NO.

The youth hunt was funded mostly, if not entirely, by NOCO Pheasants Forever.

I was a volunteer at the youth hunt. I'm glad to hear some of the forum members made it out and had fun. Hopefully next falls will be een more exciting!
