Agree, great pictures and really like the conversation. We all have our own hunting and training styles and every dog is different. That is why it is nice to hear how each uses a little different technique to get to the same end game. I use bells on the collar for location, and beeps on the e-collar to return her. If I have to, she'll get a Vib and that's it with my current dog. Only hunted one time when the wind was blowing too hard to hear the bells more than a few yards. However, I have hunted several times when you could not decipher the difference between the dog parting the grass or the wind. It's nice when the dog is more concerned about loosing you. I just bought a new Garmin 550, no tracking. Next time will probably go with the GPS tracker just so I can always find her as Chestle mentioned in his post.
