Just joined this forum in an effort to meet some new hunting buddies. I just relocated to Colorado from AZ with my wife. We're currently staying in Johnstown but plan to move further south so we're closer to work.

In AZ and the 5 years that I lived in Michigan have always involved bird hunting. Being so new to the area I was hoping that I could get some help! I have heard that there is decent pheasant hunting in CO but cannot find any information except for hunting lodges. Is there public hunting areas that one could get into a "few"? I thank you in advance for all your help!

Brad, Pm me and we will discuss the birds!!!!! I wouldn't move South, you are right in the heart of great waterfowling!!!!

Welcome to CO Brad, you're gonna love it!!! I was a newbie here two years ago - learned the pheasant ropes the first yr & tore em' up last year! There is great pheasant hunting in CO for the person who is willing to learn & work hard at it!!!

Only problem with this state is too many things to hunt/fish for & not enough time to squeak it all in!!! :D
