New Years Day Quail hunt with MAB7799

Mark Bigler MAB7799 invited me to go hunting with him and he friend Mark Jordan. We found at least 6 coveys. Most of the coveys were pretty big 15-20+ birds.

It was one of the better quail hunts I have been on this season. Had a good time with the guys and the dogs had a decent day as well. We miss or didn't take a good number of shots, leaving plenty of birds for future hunts and next season.

The video is pretty long, but I think you will like it.

Yeah it was a good time for sure. Hunted new ground yesterday. We had em beating us in the trees but that's how it goes sometimes!

Well the video from Mark Jordan's camera doesn't post well on here but it looks great on the TV! haha.

What a cool covey that was! I wish we had got some film of that other huge covey I walked into before we found this one.
