Hey everybody my name is Joe, I'm 24 and live in central minnesota. I'm not new to pheasant hunting but I have been out of it for a year since my last dog died. But now I've got me a 1 year old ylf and we've been chasing birds together all fall and been to a few preserves this winter. Everybody seems to get along pretty good here and I looks like this is a fun group of guys. Hope I can fit in and maybe make some new hunting buddies

Welcome Lando. Great site here and I'm sure you will enjoy. I have a very good friend that lives in Buffalo. Don't know a guy by the name of Rick Anderson, do you?

Well if its the same rick I know then yes. They used to live across the street from my parents before they moved out to the country. He used to be my football coach when I was a little guy and I graduated with his son. Does he still have his goldens?

Welcome to the UPH, Lando. We all get along well together cuz we're all nutz . . . dogs, birds, guns, hunting . . . join the ward of your choosing!

Welcome Joe! Hope you enjoy the site and can get acquainted with some of the subscribers/writers.

Have you reviewed the MN shoot coming up in early March - might be a way to get acquainted with some of the gang?

Jon

My mistake Zeb, I was thinking of Bruce Anderson. Yes I have seen the thread on the MN hunt. I'm getting married this coming weekend and my soon to be wife was generous enough to let me buy myself a new SxS, not sure I could pull off another preserve hunt this year

I usually go to SandPine because of the pricing, but when I feel like mixing it up I go to either Goldmeadows in Coldspring, or WillowCreek in Little Falls. Typically go once or twice before pheasant season opens and then 3-5 times after season closes, that is if my checkbook allows. Although this next season I. Hoping to grow some birds of my own to cut down on costs and hopefully the wife will be okay with me going to SoDak a couple times. I sure do miss it out there

Welcome aboard Joe! Have fun next weekend! Better have some pics of the pup posted by post 10 ... Or else!:D

Well I see you live in my neck of the woods. I'm from Kimball area. Congrates on getting married:thumbsup:
