New pup! can't wait

Looking foward to this season with the new pup. It has been several seasons behind others dogs, which is good, but having your own is something to be had. Gavin will be about 8 months at the start.

Yes, having your own bird dog is incredible. Congratulations! Get him in the field as often as possible.

What breed is Gavin?

At eight months he will be eager to go and eager to learn from the other dogs.

Gunne, will be nine months and yes it is a joy to have them. Good luck with your pup.......Bob

I completely agree its been about 5 years for me. I'm ready to get Champ out in the field as much as possible, he is going to be about 10 months at the opener, good luck with your new pup!

Congratulations on the new pup. He'll be learning how to hunt and you'll be learning some patience this hunting season. :) Hope all goes well, good luck

exactly, he will learn more from his mistakes than from his successes..have fun, be patient and above all, have fun and let your pup have fun too.

Gavin is a lab, yellow. Same as before, can't seem to change. I hunt with other breeds, but I have a thang for labs, great with the family, know when to turn it on or off and just an all around joy to be around. Although my cabinets are taking a beating and have a hole in the drywall. Oh well, that is all fixable.
