Hello folks! I've been a lurker for a coupla years, just signing in. Now have a bucket-list pheasant trip planned to SW Minnesota in October!
Share the passion for upland hunting. Bobwhites, timberdoodles, ruffled grouses, dove.. my Springer passed years ago and I ain't over it. Huge fan of Boykins but don't own a dog at the moment. I'd druther watch a pointer lock-up than shoot, but flushers suit my learnin'. We got ducks here in SC, too... "We wuz covered up in mall'ads, and we shot BOTH of 'em! "
Done a fair amount of deer and turkey hunting, blackpowder and rifle; Fly for trout and club bass fishing, salmon outta Wisc., bluewater salt off our Coast, outdoorsman all my life. I don't hunt gators, nor rent pigs. Member of my local GunClub and NRA. I like grits( aka Girls Raised In the South) AND hashbrowns.
My sister attended Clemson U and then married a guy from IL, but those are my only indefensible character flaws.
If the mods (bless their hearts) allow me to stayawhile, I gotta few ?'s coming in the SD/MN forums about my upcoming adventure.
