Awesome forum living in bc canada not that much wild pheasant hunting in are province do have some areas but your lucky to see 2 or 3 birds in a 2 day span.we have really good grouse hunting blues,ruffed,spruce and some sharptail but awesome chuker hunting and cal quail and some huns in the same area as the quail its cool to see a pheasant hunting forum as in bc its more biggame talk.Slyfox:thumbsup:

I'm as far from you as I can get and still be in the same country - Nova Scotia. Decent pheasant numbers here, although access to private farmland is the key. Becasue we're such a small province, some property owners get tired of being bugged all the time so when I find one who says OK I treat him like ROYALTY! Just got through doing the rounds of my spots dropping off thank-you cards wiht jars of home-made maple syrup! I'll follow up wiht some trout for a few people who Iknow like them once that season opens next month.
My current hunting buddy may be moving to Victoria this year, so he'll be pleased to hear that you've got some upland birds for him out there. I just got him hooked last season so he was worried about the move!

No problem crocket when your buy comes to town just tell him to give my a call and ill help him out you do have to drive out of town for about 3 to 5 hours to get to wild birds but in about 45 min from vancouver we have crazy duck hunting and some pheasant and rabbits and buy the way if your freind likes biggame there,s no better place in northamerica upland opens here in oct 1 and closes nov 30th so you have all august and september to hunt whitetail,mule,blacktail deer and 4 kind of wildsheep goats elk moose black and grizzly bear caridou and you o:thumbsup: nly need a draw for grizz and dall sheep.slyfox

What duck species do you hunt out there? Over salt, fresh, fields?
