New Drahthaar Pups !!

I'm excited now !! :D
I will be picking a male from one of two recent Drahthaar litters :)

This litter is the product of Gary Stephen's Lena vom Wiredhaus, and sired by Hans vom Seilerhus.

Very cool! I didn't realize that's what they look like as puppies. I've had the opportunity to hunt behind a couple different Draths, and they both did a great job.
 
It will be tough to choose. I'm getting a male, and between the two litters born one week apart, there were 13 males and 8 females.
I think Gary has his hands full for a few weeks.
 
You will be pleased.

Gary is very dedicated to Drahthaars and spends alot of time hunting, especially grouse, both in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Hes been at it a while and has some very nice dogs.

It is hard to get a non productive hunting DD, if you put in the time necessary to expose and train your dog.

Just keep yours away from cats, coons and critters. They dont live long around DDs.

Gary has already been very helpful and it will be an added bonus that he only lives about 45 minutes away. He is very willing to help me train, and even does a lot of training and hunting within a few miles of where I live. My wife and I went out to Ohio to watch a VJP test a few weeks ago. A few of Gary's pups were there and we really enjoyed watching them and meeting other DD enthusiasts.
Now if June will hurry and get here...:)
